Learning theory from outsiders…

I have read a lot about learning theory, working in the fields of instructional design, an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Social Sciences and working as a Sociologist as a researcher but also a teaching practitioner. I’ve started to collect quotes about learning from those outside of the learning sciences and associated disciplines. Often not being involved in the minutiae and detail of something gives you a better perspective. I’ll add to these as I find them.

These tie pretty closely with Piaget’s Cognitive Disequilibrium if you want an academic reference and some bigger words.
